Philip Wolfe

Chief Financial Officer, Soma Oil & Gas

 

Mr Wolfe joined Soma Oil & Gas in September 2013. Prior to joining Soma he was a corporate finance adviser to oil & gas companies for over 23 years. Previously he was at UBS Investment Bank where he was Head of Oil & Gas for Europe, Middle East & Africa. He has also been Global Head of Oil & Gas at HSBC, and worked at Deutsche Bank and Merrill Lynch in London, New York and Singapore. Mr Wolfe has extensive experience in raising capital for oil & gas companies and cross border M&A. He has worked across many emerging markets and has recent experience in East Africa, the Middle East and Asia. Mr Wolfe graduated from the University of Bristol in 1990 and has a BSc (Hon) degree in Economics.
