Constantine Cannon, with offices in London, New York, Washington, D.C. and San Francisco, has one of the largest and most successful whistleblower practices worldwide.  Collectively, our 22 attorneys in the whistleblower practice group have more than 120 years of experience representing whistleblowers under the various U.S. whistleblower statutes — including federal, state and local False Claims Acts, the Dodd-Frank SEC whistleblower law, the IRS Whistleblower Program and the newly enacted DOT Auto Safety Whistleblower Program — and have brought cases in virtually every state in the U.S.  Over the past decade, our whistleblower attorneys have acted as lead counsel to recover roughly $1.3 billion for the U.S. Government and $240 million in whistleblower awards for whistleblower clients.  We have a strong connection to government enforcement as many of our attorneys prior to joining the firm have held senior government positions at the Department of JusticeU.S. Attorney’s Office, Federal Trade CommissionU.S. Senate Judiciary Committee, New York State Attorney General’s OfficeManhattan District Attorney’s Office and New York Stock Exchange.

Constantine Cannon’s recent expansion of its whistleblower practice to its London office, including our efforts on behalf of British whistleblower Andrew Patrick, were featured in a recent New York Times article.

This expansion will allow the firm to better serve international whistleblowers who seek to expose tax, securities and other types of fraud occurring abroad that impacts the U.S.  The American whistleblower programs, with their international reach, allow whistleblowers from foreign countries with knowledge of illegal conduct occurring outside the U.S. to serve as whistleblowers so long as the illegal conduct affects the U.S. markets and/or other domestic interests.  By expanding its whistleblower practice to London, Constantine Cannon recognizes that in a global economy where business is conducted on an international scale, whistleblowers from foreign countries play an increasingly vital role.

In addition to Whistleblower Law, Constantine Cannon LLP in London has leading international practices in Antitrust Law & Competition Counseling and Art and Cultural Property Law Group.
